So today, I did something I have been waiting to do my whole life.
You guessed it, I voted in my first presidential election. After going to the wrong elementary school to vote and having to turn around and drive back to the Convocation Center to vote before class, I thought I would give my fellow Dukes some key information for today.
1. Be sure to go to your correct precinct
If you live on campus OR IF YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE ON CAMPUS BEFORE THIS YEAR and haven't changed it, you vote in the Convocation Center.
If you live off campus, here is a chart provided by Dukes Vote through the JMU email yesterday

2. Vote before 7:00 p.m.
According to ABC News, polls are open in Virginia from 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., so plan accordingly.
3. Vote for who YOU want to vote for
This is the most important step. Don't let family or friends influence who you believe would be the best candidate. Your vote counts, so give it to the candidate that fits best with your morals and values
