Duke of the Week
If you are passionate about the JMU and Harrisonburg community, enter A Duke’s Life’s contest to be featured on their website and social media pages.
A Duke's Life has provided JMU Duke's with an accessible, easy-to-use website for all Dukes to better engage with their campus and their community. From academics to wellness, to community events, A Duke's Life is there for the students of Harrisonburg.
The writers of A Duke's Life wanted a way for their followers to express their passion for JMU.
The blog, created and run by six enthusiastic James Madison University students,
is offering a new contest for JMU students to be featured as the Duke of the Week.
They are looking for students that truly exemplify the JMU and Harrisonburg community;
engaging in clubs, service work or just fun and interesting activities in the area.
Winners will be featured on A Duke’s Life’s website and all of their social media accounts.
If you feel that you have what it takes to become A Duke’s Life’s Duke of the Week, show them why by using the hashtag #adukeslifehburg and tagging them @adukeslifehburg

We are proud to announce our third Duke of the Week. Congratulations to Evan Gallagher, an outstanding member of the JMU community. Evan is involved in various organizations around campus that all focus on shoeing off, giving back and simply loving the beautiful place that we call home. Evan says, "being apart of the JMU and Harrisonburg community alike gives me an opportunity everyday to be a better person and influence others with that same positive and attitude!" Thanks for doing what you do Evan. Or should we say Mr. Madison... #adukeslifehburg
