Cassey is a third year at JMU. She is from a small town called Keeling located in southwestern Virginia. Cassey is working toward a B.S. degree in Communications and SMAD, and is interested in someday doing public relations work that would benefit soldiers and their families. Outside of academics, she is a second year RA for first year students in Chesapeake Hall and is involved in InterVarsity. Since freshman year, she has grown to sincerely love the JMU life and feel beyond blessed to be JMU Duke.
Alexa is a junior from Charlottesville, VA. She's unsure if she chose JMU for the education or the food. She's loved food for as long as she can remember. She prides herself on being the annoying friend that will disregard conversation while she is getting lost in endless Tasty videos and food Instagram accounts. She's excited to be writing about "the greatest eats in the greatest place on earth."
Mac is a fifth-year senior at JMU, graduating in Dec. 2016. He studies Public Relations with a minor in Music Industry hoping to eventually combine his passion for music with the skills of a P.R. professional. Although he has been involved in music most of his life, he has really begun to find his niche in the music technology world. He is both a five year member of the Marching Royal Dukes and a working DJ, mixing for house parties in Harrisonburg. You can find him on-campus walking between the Quad and Carrier Library always plugged into his headphones; listening to either rap, R&B, or electronic music.
Jenny is a junior at James Madison University pursuing a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She is from the suburbs of Philadelphia. Her time is dedicated to her educational success at JMU and spending time with the people she loves. Jenny prides herself on her contributions to her professional business fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon. Jenny is so excited to broaden her academic scope while studying abroad this spring. Exploring JMU, Harrisonburg and all of their hidden hacks has made her college experience so much more fulfilled. On this site, Jenny hopes to to enlighten you all with information to help heighten your success this academic semester.
Jordan is a junior at James Madison University. She is majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and minoring in Computer Information Systems. On campus, she is currently involved in Public Relations Student Society (PRSSA) and InterVarsity. She is also on the Student Alumni Association Board of Directors and was a First yeaR Orientation Guide this past summer. Jordan's favorite season at JMU is the fall, because it is filled with football, tailgates, hiking, bonfires, beautiful leaves and apple picking. She is excited to share with you all “How to Make the Most of your Downtime”, and that these activities will help you make the most of your experience here at JMU.
Amy is in her third year at JMU, majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Sports Communication. As an employee of JMU's recreation center (UREC), she has a great passion for all things health and wellness. She is always looking for new adventures in Harrisonburg, while fully embracing the culture of the Shenandoah Valley.
